waiting for mr. postman...

Platforms are all the rage since the start of this year but I've never been a fan. The ridiculous 6 or 7 inch Lanvin (above left) and Balenciaga platforms (above right) from SS06 I thought were appalling. But Prada, Miu Miu, Chole, YSL have put out some nice platforms this and the past season, and they started to grow on me - so much that I desperately wanted a pair myself. I could also definitely use another 4 or 5 inch on my 5'2'' frame. I found a pair of sparkly Miu Miu platforms on ebay and I knew I have to have it! I got them at a fraction of retail price and cannot wait for them to arrive in the mail...and then I will have to practice walking...
